Sarapion aus dem Demos Pambotadai und ihn bekränzemit einem Olivenkranz wegen seiner Frömmigkeitgegenüber den Göttern und seines Ehrgeizes für denRat und das Volk; dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär,der während der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerneStele und sie aufstelle in dem Heiligtum - - -;dass für die Aufzeichnung und die Stele derFinanzverwalter die entstandenen Kosten begleiche - - -- - -

In order, therefore, that the Council andthe People may be seen to render to all those who display love of honour theappropriate honour and thanks, for good fortune,the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee allottedfor the forthcoming Assembly shall put these matters on the agenda,and submit the opinion of the Council to the People, thatit seems good to the Council to praise the priest [of Asklepios?],- - - son of Sarapion of Pambotadai, and crownhim with a foliage crown for his pietytowards the gods and his love of honourtowards the Council and the People; and the prytanysecretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone steleand stand it in the sanctuary [of Asklepios?];and for the inscribing and the stele theadministrator shall allocate the expense accrued.- - -
